When the 1935 zodiac year began
In 1935, the Lunar New Year fell on Monday, February 4, 1935. The year of the Wood Pig ran from that day until January 23, 1936.
If you were born between January 1 and February 3, 1935, your animal is the Dog (Wood Dog, the 1934 year). People born from February 4, 1935 onward belong to the Pig.
The Wood Pig
In tradition, Wood is linked with growth, kindness and generosity. Each animal comes around every 12 years, and with the five elements the same combination returns every 60 years. The Pig is traditionally linked with being warm and generous. Read more about the Pig in Chinese tradition.
