Short version: we collect as little as possible. No ads, no tracking cookies, and we never sell your information.
Last updated October 1, 2026. This page covers the website anewdaily.com. The ANEW app will have its own privacy policy before it launches on December 1.
What we collect
- Your email, if you join the waitlist. We use it only to tell you when ANEW launches. If we ever want to send more, we will ask you first. You confirm your email first, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Basic technical data. Like every website, our host receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page. It is used to deliver and protect the site.
What stays on your device
The day card can remember the day you were born, so it can show your birth-day color. This is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us, and you can clear it anytime by choosing "Choose a day" again or clearing your browser data. The practice runs entirely in your browser too.
Who helps us
- Kit (kit.com) stores the waitlist and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from abuse.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
These companies process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Some of them are based in the United States.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, wherever you live. To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of any ANEW email. To ask anything else, simply reply to any ANEW email and we will answer. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
