Questions people ask

Can I bring my phone to a meditation retreat?

Usually you bring it for travel and hand it in or switch it off on arrival. Most silent retreats ask for no phones, reading or writing during the course.

What should I wear to a meditation retreat?

Loose, comfortable and modest clothes that cover shoulders and knees, in layers, since meditation halls can be cold early in the morning. Avoid tight, revealing or loudly printed clothing.
