The place

The London Zen Centre says its Zen lineage evolved from the Sanbo Kyodan Japanese Zen school, which straddles Soto and Rinzai and was influential in establishing koan Zen in the West. It names Robert Aitken Roshi, John Tarrant Roshi and the Pacific Zen School, with Guy Gaudry Roshi continuing the lineage. It offers workshops and retreats for advanced Zen students.
